Organization Groups

Management Board, Committees, Interest Groups, Working Groups etc. need convenient ways to share information, discuss, debate and keep in touch. This is true in a commercial enterprise but even more important in associations where people meet infrequently.

To achieve this the Member Database identifies which members belong to which groups. This is easily administered as people move in and out of activities.

eMail groups are provided so that a single address e.g. myinterest at your-association.org reaches everyone in the group. This avoids out-of-date or incomplete lists being used and people missing important information.

eMail is not the only way that groups communicate. Other facilities include:

  • Phone lists
  • Alerts by "Instant Message" (unfortunately, unlike email, this is not free of charge)
  • Shared Document Folders
  • Discussion boards
  • Blogs
  • etc.
